Training Information

WMD/NIMS Unified Command

The scope of this course is to train emergency leaders and managers to operate together within the National Incident Management system at a WMD event that is of a magnitude where the local NIMS-based ICS may transition to Unified Command.  This course satisfies the IS-100 and IS-200 NIMS requirements.  

HAZMAT Incident Management System

The HAZMAT Incident Management System class is now approved and on the IFSI website. Everyone on the HAZMAT team needs this course and there are no pre-requisites. Some members already have this course, but most of us still need it. It is scheduled for the weekend of January 9th, 10th and 11th, 8 am to 5 pm in Colona.

Box Card Training

MABAS Division 39 offers a course called "MABAS 101" that teaches how to create and use Box Cards.  This is about a two hour session based on materials used by the State MABAS organization.  It is suitable for both Firefirghter/EMS and Dispatch personnel.  To schedule a session, or for more information, contact Don Adams by e-mail.
