Absentee
voting for the upcoming November 2, 2010 General Election will be
conducted in the Henry County Clerk’s Office in Cambridge, Illinois.
Hours for
absentee voting are Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
The Henry County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, October 11th,
2010 in observance of Columbus Day.
The first day
to absentee vote is September 23rd, 2010. The last day to
accept applications for absentee ballots through the mail is Thursday,
October 28th, 2010, and the last day for in person absentee
voting in the Office of the County Clerk is Monday, November 1st,
2010.
A voter may
now request an absentee ballot without specifying a reason for their
absence on Election Day. Any elector may by mail, or by personal
delivery, make an application to the County Clerk for an official ballot
for the voter’s precinct to be voted at such election.
